Supplier Reorder Assistant

Privacy Policy

Effective and last updated: September 9, 2026

This policy explains how Supplier Reorder Assistant (the “App,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and deletes information when a Shopify merchant installs or uses the App.

Information we collect

Information received from Shopify

After a merchant authorizes the App, Shopify provides the store domain, authentication and session information, granted access scopes, and may provide authorized-user details such as a Shopify user ID, name, email address, locale, and account role. Access tokens are stored on the server so the App can make authorized Shopify API requests.

When a merchant runs a sync, the App reads the store timezone and currency, active inventory locations, product and variant identifiers, product and variant titles, SKUs, inventory item identifiers, and available inventory quantities. It also reads up to 60 days of order and refund data needed to calculate aggregate product demand, including order and line-item identifiers, dates, quantities, status information, variant identifiers, and refund restock treatment.

Information entered by merchants

Merchants may enter supplier names, codes, contact names, email addresses, phone numbers, postal addresses, product-to-supplier rules, lead times, purchasing intervals, safety buffers, pack sizes, minimum quantities, costs, overrides, purchase-order details, notes, expected dates, receipt quantities, and reconciliation status. Merchants control the information they choose to enter.

Technical information

We may process request, authentication, webhook, synchronization, error, and security logs needed to operate and protect the App. These records can include timestamps, store identifiers, event types, job status, and error details. The App does not place tracking technology on a merchant’s storefront or collect information directly from shoppers.

Customer and order data

The App does not request or store customer names, customer IDs, email addresses, phone numbers, shipping or billing addresses, or payment-card information. It uses limited order and refund fields only to calculate units sold by product variant. Stored sales history is aggregated by store, product variant, and time period and is not linked to an individual customer.

How we use information

  • Authenticate merchants and keep each store’s records separate.
  • Import inventory and calculate explainable reorder suggestions.
  • Create, export, and track merchant-managed supplier purchase orders.
  • Provide billing access, support, troubleshooting, and service notices.
  • Monitor reliability, prevent abuse, and protect the App and its users.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

We do not sell personal information or use merchant, supplier, or Shopify data for third-party advertising.

When information is shared

We share information only as needed with Shopify; infrastructure providers that host, store, secure, monitor, or support the App on our behalf; and professional advisers or authorities when required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety, and security. Service providers may use information only to perform services for us under appropriate confidentiality and data protection obligations.

If the App’s business is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law and continued protection.

Data location and international transfers

Shopify and our infrastructure providers may process information in countries other than the merchant’s own. Where required, we use lawful transfer mechanisms and contractual safeguards designed to protect the information.

Retention and deletion

We retain store configuration, inventory snapshots, sales aggregates, supplier records, and purchase-order records while the App is installed and as needed to provide the service. Authentication sessions are deleted promptly after uninstall. Shopify sends a shop-redaction request 48 hours after uninstall; when it is received, the App deletes the merchant record and its related operational data and sessions. We may retain limited records longer only when required by law, to resolve disputes, or to protect the service.

The App does not retain customer-linked records. It acknowledges Shopify customer data-access and deletion requests because no customer-identifying information is stored.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information, including server-side access tokens, authenticated Shopify requests, least-privilege API scopes, and separation of records by store. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

Your choices and rights

Merchants can stop future collection by uninstalling the App. Depending on location, a merchant or other individual may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or a portable copy of personal information. Requests can be sent to the email below. We may need to verify the requester and the relevant Shopify store before responding.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the App, our providers, or legal requirements change. We will post the revised policy here and update the date above. If a change materially affects how we use personal information, we will give additional notice when required.
